We need to secure at least a playoff place so not too bothered about a Watford win today especially if starts a downward slide of our neighbours.

The big 6 pointer games will be crucial at Watford and Reading and hopefully we will have turned this corner of riding our luck and get some form back albeit the points keep coming in.

wtf.... secure a play-off place... that is all but done. We need one more point to match last season's tally, with 11 games left. Watford drawing today would have seen us 2 points clear with a game in hand. I think Cardiff have had it for the play-offs, they did well to climb the table, but 7 points adrift with 10 games left I think is a tall order.

I get your point but still 33 points up for grabs and yes we will get at least a PO. We do appear to have the easier set of fixtures than Watford and Brentford on paper but i didn't want Cardiff gate crashing the top 6 either.

In past years, for the points we have, we'd have a decent cushion between ourselves and the playoff places, at this point in the season

If we carry on with our rate of points per game, we'll end up on around 90, which I'm confident is guaranteed champions most years.

For 2nd and 3rd place to have close to 70 points with 10 games left is pretty remarkable

I know a lot of us will find joy in Cardiff losing, but I don't. Watford winning this one is very damaging for us. They're now favourite to win promotion.

A playoff with Brentford, Bournemouth and Barnsley doesn't look good.

Still, I remain positive/realistic. We shouldn't be competing with Watford, Norwich and Bournemouth with their money.

How are they favourite when we have the same points and a game in hand?

Because they are fresh out of the Premier League with a better and larger squad in a pandemic

Are we writing off Cardiff and Boro as promotion rivals? It would take some run, but there is still 27 points to play for.

Between Watford's and Brentford's and our fixtures, if I could choose which set to have i'd probably pick ours + Brentford's. But obviously Watford have the points.

Barnsley's run in is easier than Bournemouth's. Reading's is horrible. I would not be at all surprised if Bournemouth pip Reading.

I think the playoffs will be between Swansea, Barnsley, Brentford, and Bournemouth.

i was v worried about watford but the didnt realise they have to go to norwich and bford

Unfortunately I reckon Muff will come through strong and reading will drop out. The playoffs will be a tough proposition all round. Wouldn’t really fancy Muff or Gasworks FC over two legs or on a big Wembley pitch very much. We could have another hoof-fest with Barno I suppose, seeing as we’ve wrestled our way to winning the first two bouts.

Safer all round to get a grip and get second. Cooper, sort it out.

League 1 play off we had beaten Barnsley home and away in the league and lost in the final, but we weren’t ready to go up in my opinion and when we did go up we were a much improved side.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. I am pretty chilled about what happens, whatever anyone thinks now, nobody thought we would have been in the top 6 for most of the season at the start of this very weird and challenging season.
