League 1 play off we had beaten Barnsley home and away in the league and lost in the final, but we weren’t ready to go up in my opinion and when we did go up we were a much improved side.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. I am pretty chilled about what happens, whatever anyone thinks now, nobody thought we would have been in the top 6 for most of the season at the start of this very weird and challenging season.

Every single sane Swansea fan would have bitten your hand off at the start of the season to be where we are now. Even though it doesn't seem that way at the moment given our form...

Norwich 9 wins on the trot, 10 games ago they lose 2-0.

2-0 up after 13 mins.

I think it's fair to say they will be Champions! Unbelievable that we destroyed them at the Liberty a few weeks ago.

Thats the difference between playoffs and autos ... a good striker, shame we didnt splash for one as we could be looking forward to the prem now.

I’d take Buendia over Pukki any day of the week. Deltas create loads of chances for Pukki, we create next to nothing for anyone. Lowe has looked pretty awful, but he’s hardly had a chance since his goal run ended. It must get really boring chasing hopeful leathered punts, time after time in lost causes or into the corners. I think I’d look downhearted too.

It’s not about a striker, although we should play someone as one (Ayew looked great there under Guidolin). It’s the whole team shape and structure and mindset that creates nothing. The limited plan has got us where we are, god knows how, but it’s not enough for the last ten games without the most incredible dollop of jam.

The problem with the shape is that the wing backs are not creating to the same extent. Partly due to opposition wising up to how we play, but more due to carrying Hourihane in the midfield. If Fulton and Smith both play the wing backs have greater freedom to go forward.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment of where we are. We've lost the ability to control games and don't hunt in packs to win the ball back quickly when we lose it. The run of game must be taking its toll. So we're ending up deeper and getting more desperate with longer balls. It must be pretty dispiriting for Lowe and Ayew chasing lost causes all day. Both are rarely in most games from an attacking point of view.

We've always bounced back so far this season, but I'm not sure we've got enough left in us to finish strongly. We'll see. I'm resigned to PO places even though the top 2 should have easily been in our own hands. I think we'll struggle against Cardiff too.

In the last 9 games Watford have a 11 point swing on Brentford (16 goal difference swing) even giving them a win in Rotherham that was postponed and a 8 point swing ( 18 goal difference) on Swansea. From Bloom’s site. Crazy what they and Barno are doing.

As good as Barnsley’s form is would we be more confident playing them in a play off final knowing we have already beat them twice?

Yeah I'd rather avoid the terms Barnsley and playoff final, if at all possible.

Another game, another Brentford dive for a penalty.

Seems like the ref has made a rod for his own back now.

Will have to give a penalty for every slight touch in the box.

Looking forward to the 9 or 10 yet to be given in this game now

Just given Forest a yellow for a dive in the area

This is like our game against Forest a few months ago, they've got all the possession but look completely toothless.
