• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It’s starting to feel like he’ll be off by the end of the window. I’d go for Siriki Dembele at Peterborough as an alternative

Would cost some serious dollar, Bournemouth had two bids rejected for him.

If he goes, we're either going to get no replacement, or a loan (which is dead money unless the player comes with an agreed fee to buy that we're comfortable with), or a likely inferior signing as it's generally more expensive to sign a player in January than it is in the summer.

I'm still guessing he'll stay and will be back in the squad soon enough. Just a guess though.

It's a funny old game, Patterson discarded in the Summer, obviously has a bit of an attitude, looks a reasonable championship player, lacks pace and is 30 years old. If we can get some money let him go.

I think this one is a deadline deal, will be a case of seeing if we’ll be desperate to sell for virtually nothing.

If he goes late in the window we're bolloxed for getting a replacement in and if we get a replacement in and he doesn't go we got two players here, [no shit sherlock :P ]

Seems like we stuck between a rock and a hard place. :x
