Darling and the bounce again ….. not once, not twice, but three times ….. ?! Needs to sort that out.

Wood’s best game for us, subbed.

Oxoflex, changed the game, subbed 🤷‍♂️.

Fulton, immense again, class.

Reading a team in the image of their manager, poor attitude, sh!thouse keeper, decent number 9.

Ref, held it together, just.

Even at 2 down we were comfortable in that game. Heads easily could have gone down.

Darling and Cooper MUST start on Sunday.

Felt subbing Oko Flex was the right call at the time. Putting Naughton out there added a stronger barrier to prevent crosses being pumped into Carroll.

Re the Darling bounce, it’s definitely ‘a thing’.

I guess it stems from RM’s coaching book where an immediate hoof into row Z is not permitted.

First thing they tell the kids... Don't let the ball bounce

Both Reading goals came from letting the ball bounce, the first one was Lati's fault and the second was Darling's.

Oko-Flex may feel hard done by and its impossible to know how much difference subbing him out made if any to the outcome of the match, but RM could argue that getting the win justified the change. It was by far his most promising appearance though, that 1-2 with Obafemi was perfectly weighted.

Wood did well but I can understand why we made the change, again RM could argue that the result justified the substitution.

Fulton has been growing from strength to strength the past two months, got to be one of the first names on the team sheet on current form.

Ref had a shocker, would be happy to never see him ref a Swans game ever again.

This league is a bit nuts isn't it? Blackburn have lost more games than bottom team Coventry but they're top! Nobody really looks like pulling away from the pack unlike the last few seasons, lots of teams look to be at a very similar level. Might see Watford & Norwich do a bit better later in the season with their biggest squads, but at the moment it looks wide open.

That has to be the worst ref and (east) lino we've had in a good long while.
Maybe since that dickwad who got ferry lag when Bess had to be held up by the club doc (linnington???)
Sure the standards are dropping each season.
