Reading v Brentford

win our game in hand and thats prob reading out of it - stright shootout between us and narch for second

next three for reading are millwall, boro and brizzle

reading appaz deserve to go up according to their forum, fckin freaks

As much as I dislike their manager they are playing so well, the fact they haven’t beaten us this season shows how well we can play as well. I don’t think anyone can stop them now.

We have to go out Saturday and play to the best of our ability to keep the pressure on everyone else.

I don’t care what happens regarding promotion I just want us to keep playing well.

Brentford must be Champions elect now, no?

They’re light years ahead of anyone else in this league atm. It’s going to take something catastrophic to stop them.

Between us and Norwich to slug it out for second and with Norwich due to improve I think it’s probably playoffs at best for us.

They looked nailed on last year until their arse fell out. Long way to go yet. Anything could happen.

Their sense of entitlement plus the attitude of Franck means that'll be tested bigtime not if but when they lose a game or 2.
Thing is, they maybe so far ahead by then it won't matter

You’re right of course but they’re a bit of a machine at the moment. Best team in the league by miles. We’re decent and reasonably steady but we’re nowhere near that level of performance. I don’t think Norwich are either but they have room for a big improvement. Not digging us out, just how it looks to me.

We have 19 games left and are in a good place, but it’s far too early to call anything.
The new signings look promising, so I’m optimistic.
Each team will have a dodgy spell from here on in, and no doubt teams below us will have a good run.

Fuck me. I've said it before but I wouldn't want some of you surrender monkeys next to me in the trenches

Seeing as we're making bold statements ridiculously early, here's mine; Brentford will shit the bed and won't go up automatically. Bookmark it.

See you in May

They're top now and not chasing, but being chased. It's a different sort of pressure and they didn't handle the pressure last season.

A long way to go.

That's a very interesting point to be honest - it can sometimes be easier having a target to achieve now it is about holding off the sides who will want to chase them. And of course the chance that other sides raise their games more against the leaders

Twists and turns ahead, they will hit a poor patch, its how they deal with it and whether they have the capability to grind out a result when not playing well

And they cannot keep conceding the first goal and expect to win every game
