• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

“I never felt more like singing the blues, Swansea win and Coventry lose” 🎼

I’ve never understood that song. You sing the blues when you’re miserable.

Bizarre isn't it? I think exactly that every time I hear it!

Not a happy song, the original being

Well, I never felt more like singin' the blues
But I never thought that I'd ever lose
Your love dear
Why'd you do me this way?

Well, I never felt more like cryin' all night
'Cause everythin's wrong, and nothin' ain't right
Without you
You got me singin' the blues

I suppose they can't justify selling a third kit if they never use it, so they'll shoehorn it in as often as possible

Or, if you had a second kit like ours you'd want to wear the 3rd kit as often as possible!

Grimes - The non existent capt
Bennett - The non footballing CB
Smith - The non creating midfielder
Fulton - The walking Yellow card

My mate from Bristol reckons Palmer is exciting to watch - runs with the ball at his feet but no end product. Hope he‘s wrong.

Someone running with the ball at defenders can cause defensive errors and a bit of panic, I'd settle for that plan at the moment because we're doing very little of anything atm
