• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I don’t like cold, wind, rain, fog or snow.

Not particularly fond of hot weather neither.

I agree that it’s wrong to get shafted for something that was not your fault.
Thanks Coops, I will say I have never pulled the wool over them, been hit sitting at a red light, by somebody doing god knows what speed, and another time by a Ford 3.5 ton tipper whist stationary (now that hurt). There was no trying to be clever here, I just know what comes next.

He ma
I'm sure someone mentioned on here he lives there nowadays, might be wrong though...
What am I missing here? ECB will declare a fault accident, not a non fault accident.

I smashed into a pheasant on the M4 a while back, mangled a grille and various pipework behind it. Claimed on insurance with protected no claims and it didn’t influence my premiums.
Did you make up a sauce to go with it Coops :ROFLMAO: :p

Sitting in the sun sipping gin and tonics while you lot freeze your bollucks off.
Hereford gonna get it again tomorrow Pego, River level at Belmont is 4.7 now, builth Wells show ground was under at least 2ft of water and back of cinema was flooded with cars stuck there with water just below the car windows, lunchtime tomorrow there could be at least 6mtrs of water on.
This was what it was like there about a fortnight ago, virtually lapping up over the Vickey bridge just below tennis courts

Sadly, 2 people have lost their lives already due to this storm..

Absolutely tragic. 😥
I was dreading it overnight up here, went to bed just after 12 and was expecting to be again around 3am ish because of the storm, but all was fine, although I was up a few times cause the youngest was awake and irritable after the wind noise woke him, Mrs was up so sent her back to bed and stayed up until lad settled, went back to bed and was back down within the hour and that continued more or less all night :ROFLMAO: got up about 9 wide awake.

Holy moly, I'm going there on Wednesday night to spend three nights with my mate before coming down to Swansea. As long as The Barrels isn't flooded....

Really take it serious guys and girls, when you see any kind of warnings coming in..

I saw the size of the tree that fell on Glanmor Road last night, and it's massive. , and It would never have crossed my mind, that it would be unsafe to drive down there. Never again, when there is a forecast like this.. Would I drive.. Stay safe everybody.
