Is Trundle and Britton still playing that charity game at their place when the season ends
If so they'll need the SAS to get them in and out of the placeIs Trundle and Britton still playing that charity game at their place when the season ends![]()
Don't get me wrong, I'm revelling in this as much as anyone & I would truly love for them to go down.
The fact they find themselves in the predicament is worth laughing about whether they stay up or not.Don't get me wrong, I'm revelling in this as much as anyone & I would truly love for them to go down.
But it ain't over yet & there will be a few people with serious egg on their faces if they somehow manage to stay up.
True, just desserts for their constant delusions of grandeurThe fact they find themselves in the predicament is worth laughing about whether they stay up or not.
Just enjoy it, I reckon![]()
Odds on for promotion at the beginning of the season.True, just desserts for their constant delusions of grandeur

Odds on for promotion at the beginning of the season.
I think it was more Cardiff fans thinking they are odds on for promotion.Which I found odd, given bookies crunch the numbers probably better than anyone.
It was widely reported in several media outlets last pre-season that Cardiff had vastly overperformed on xGS and xGA all of the previous season. In other words, they were performing like a relegated team, and had got lucky. And if it didn't change direction, they'd be in some bother. Think it was the Not The Top 20 podcast who first highlighted it.
Now I'm not one for those types of stats usually, but you have to say, they were correct. So quite why the bookies didn't cotton on to that, I don't know.
Ah, got you now. I thought you'd meant the bookiesI think it was more Cardiff fans thinking they are odds on for promotion.
Apparently they won they FA Cup a couple of hundred years ago![]()
Cardiff have been circling the drain for several seasons and aside from the Erol bounce elevating then to a false high they’ve been due to go for a while. Only they couldn’t see that, and it drives home the importance of our strong finish to the season, stopping the rot and not getting in to a perennial flirt with regulation.Which I found odd, given bookies crunch the numbers probably better than anyone.
