Motor Neurone Disease is right up there for me with Alzheimer's for being one of the worst conditions. Knowing that your body is falling apart but being able to do nothing about it is a horrible experience especially for a former professional athlete.

It says so much about him that he dedicated most of the remainder of his life to his foundation and the world will be a much worse off place without him.

RIP you jack bastard
 
His contribution to the survival of this club should never be underestimated.
