The voice of F1 for so long - RIP

I’m gutted, he’s the voice of my favourite sport. Lucky to have stood next to him in person a few times while interviewing, to hear ‘that’ voice.

One of the most iconic voices of sports for sure

RIP

RIP GREAT commentator.
I used to enjoy F1 back in the day, but not for many years now.

He was far more entertaining than Formula One ever was or will be.

Seemed to be a lot more commentators years ago who were absolutely brilliant. David Coleman (Football) Eddie waring and Bill McLaren (rugby) Richie Benaud, john arlott, and henry blofeld( cricket) Peter o'sullevan (horse racing) Sid wadell(darts) and of course the fantastic Murray walker. As us old ones say "they Don't make them like they used to" .RIP Murray walker.

Very homogenous these days. A few good ones ( David Croft and Martin Brindle the current F1 guys included) but not these great characters who had foibles and made mistakes. Walker was a great commentator who lived motorsport, was respected by those in the sport. Much mimicked but greatly missed. RIP Murray

I’ve been to a few Grand Prix and the after race gig was the highlight of the day.

Murray Walker, he's definitely going to live to 100...

Apologies Murray, RIP.
