When I think of him now and look at the Premier League today I reckon he could walk into most sides in the top six or at least be a very valid squad member but back then he didn’t.
(same for AC)
Does that make sense to anyone else?

Imagine if he had stayed at Arsenal as a youngster instead of coming back to Swansea due to being homesick.
Part of me thinks maybe he wouldn't have had the same opportunities to develop as he did with Swans.
Another part thinks he had the ability to have gone on to even greater fame winning trophies with Arsenal.
Oddly enough I was down Steboneath Park this afternoon and was chatting to some friends about him.
Yes there were so many brilliant players back then and the standards were so high that think only Curt had the edge to have made it with any club.Darran said:STID2017 said:Imagine if he had stayed at Arsenal as a youngster instead of coming back to Swansea due to being homesick.

Yes I agree. I kind of see him at least on the bench of todays top six but he never really got that high, again if you get my drift?

We are so privileged to have seen the very best of Curtis, Charles and Robbie.

Absolutely though you’re a lot older than me.

Older but not wiser

So there we were in the stand singing 'oh Robbie Robbie' ( you know the rest). He looked over and gave us a wave....never forget it.
Cockneys looking on bemused. Great day.
