Oh absolutely, agree on most of that, though don't think Cabango and Burgess have had a terrible season so far .
Not terrible. But we need 2 quality defenders to be pushing. I am desperate like many want the combination of Cabango and Burgess to be the best defense in the championship. Problem you have is, Burgess passing is terrible and Cabango switches off. But can't see Cabango being dropped due to him being the captain. Unless we get a worldy next year and he gets injured. Who knows.

I would be happy to have Burgess as backup. But think we need an upgrade on him.

I can't see him leaving. Although I would like to shift him on personally.

Considering he is one of our highest earners there is not a chance he will be a backup aswell we can't have that amount of resources sat on the bench.

He'll be turning 31 soon and he has 1 more rore years left on his contract. There is no incentive for anyone to buy him (no resale value) or for him to leave unless someone offers him the same wage and contract length.

Ronald seems incapable of forming a combination with whoever is playing at right back. You don't necessarily need to beat your full back for pace but give and go with good understanding will get you where you want to be. Key was doing exactly that last night to great effect.
I'm probably in the minority about Burgess but I'd get rid of Cabango before him.

I’m not completely against Ronald staying as a back-up/energy sub, but there’s no way he should be starting for any team with playoff ambitions. He seems like an honest lad who tries his best, but it’s not at the level we need week in week out. A replacement starter is high on the list.

Eom is a strange one. I think he’s one of the most naturally talented players at the club, but it’s not really translating into goals and assists on the pitch. He was great under Sheehan last season, but he’s not been able to follow that up this season so far on the whole. Wish he was a bit stronger and faster. Maybe Matos and his staff need time to work out how best to use him, I don’t know.
