I felt a bit sorry for him, and he did admit to a mistake with subs. Come on though, over 80 games all in and nothing has improved. Today wasn’t down to the January window. Our goalkeeper - HIS goalkeeper - is utter gash; invisible. That signing made us weaker for no reason. Now he’s moaning because we don’t get another one, or a forward? Here’s a tip. It’s the defence. It’s your job. You weren’t looking to buy any defenders. Improve it.

Can’t argue with most of that, Mon. The part that I’m not aligned with is the sorrow; he’s had money made available to him and hasn’t used it to full effect. He’s also not addressed our weak mental underbelly and yesterday showed this up one more, just like Millwall home and multiple others.

Aye, I should have been more specific Coops, I felt sorry for him watching the interview. He looked broken. In terms of the situation he is in I don’t feel sorry for him at all. He’s been paid a small fortune to manage a set of resources and he’s done that poorly. Others think differently for reasons I simply don’t get.

Why are people feeling for him cos he's broken.
The faces on people leaving the stadium yesterday were far worse. How many fckn kickings are we meant to take cos of this guys inability to see out a game.

Martin smirks several times during the post match press conference. I also didn’t see much humour on the fans faces yesterday.

Fisher, Wood and Darling, all brought to the club by this manager and all on the pitch at the end yesterday in another capitulation. As others have said , we have a real soft underbelly, whether that's capitulating at the end of games or giving teams a 2 or 3 goal start. The defence is an absolute shambles that hasn't been addressed since his first game when we were hammered at Blackburn.

I’m not really interested in how he feels although I suspect that much of his demeanour was for show.

The smirk of a narcissist

Absolutely this. Definitely seems like his persona to the media doesn't match what goes on behind closed doors.

I wonder if the Septics would have been keener to do business if we had 10 less points. Maybe they feel we cant get relegated from here, to which I would reply "Oh yes we can"

You can draw a line through many of those names on the basis of our budget.

Pity that Paul Daniels has died, because the club needs a magician not a football manager with the three muppets that own the club.

It’d be peak Swansea under these useless owners to sack him 4 days after the close of a transfer window!

They just don't seem to 'know' about football in this country, all they know about is business. Every window, whether its January or the closed season, to them it's all about brinkmanship and thinking they're being clever businessmen. Look at the Sigurdsson fiasco, playing brinkmanship with Everton thinking they can squeeze a little more by making them sweat until the window has nearly closed when all it did was ensure that we didn't have any money to spend our at least no time in which to superb it. And playing hardball with the likes of Obafemi when Burnley were willing to pay more than they eventually did last week. Your USA dealing ways may work for you in whatever it is you do over there but this is not how it works in football here, boys, leave it to people who have been in the game for decades not 5 minutes like you.

Fuking hell, he looks totally deflated, I don't see how he can continue and build up some positivity in himself left alone the squad. Sad to see to be honest.

FFS will people stop feeling sorry for him.
Ones to feel for are the ones who probably can't afford to go, but still do.

I don't feel sorry for him, just thought it was sad to see someone so dejected as he was and of course I feel for the fans that make the effort and spend what the do to support the team home and away, there's no doubt that a change is needed and probably moreso now than ever.
