• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Not just yet, but he’s going to be on very thin ice if we lose the next two. We can’t continue playing that badly at home.

I think he’ll still be here whatever happens Yanks look to have lost all interest in SCFC, so they won’t sack as it’ll them money to do so and to replace him.

Next Level in it🙄

We have Naughton who has played the right side of the defense for more years than I can remember at premiership level with Spurs and ourselves, what does RM do? Play him on the left. We have Manning who has always played on the left side of the defense, even at international level, so RM plays him on the right. Everyone knows we have struggled with our centre-backs this season, we have our highest paid player Ryan Bennett omitted from the team because he doesn't fit the system, a man with premiership experience is now training with the kids. Change the system to fit the players you have then RM, that's the common sense thing to do. We used to have a little speed in the side. RM doesn't seem to like it, hence Whittacker and Garrick out on loan. Is he deliberately trying to sabotage the side?

I just watched the after match Jackanory. The bloke is seriously a few nuts short of the full roast.

“Wave after wave of attacking”; “We’re really not far away”.

Jesus, he’s losing it. Totally rattled. He just can’t cope with any criticism or even non-praise. He has a serious defect. When things get really bloody he will either get much more aggressive or cry.

Thought he made some very important comments in his post match presser though. He's right that he's the only bugger actually speaking to us, he's clarified the owners are basically judging him by whether we sell players and. despite sending half our bench on loan, there aren't any funds to get anyone else in.

It's been a while since we've seen that level of transparency from anyone associated with our club.

We seem to be in an increasingly visible deep hole here

And an utterly predictable one. The silence is utterly deafening. Shame Silverstein didn't take time out of his busy photo schedule to front up a bit.

Yes that comment made me laugh when I heard it. We may have been in their half of the pitch, but there were very few times that I thought we were attacking.

Correct. Amongst mostly waffle there are some valid comments.

The fact that he is being judged on selling players is very worrying from a football point of view. As most of us suspected the owners don't give a flying shit about our results but only about money.

That puts to bed the BS Dimwit and the rest came out with when they said the sale was in the club's best interest
And shows the tweet Darran put up about Dimwit and him having a go at the club.

No matter what, Shagger, Dimwit, Beaky, Van Clog or any of the others can never be made to feel comfy if they try to own the club in the future.
They've done a Petty!

Unfortunately for ourselves, the number one priority for a hedge fund (all 27 of them) is money, most, if not all of them wouldn't have heard of Wales, never mind Swansea City FC...

My problem with RM
He doesn’t have the players to consistently play the way he wants, but he knows no other way, no plan B, we have not progressed the quality of play since he arrived, we still make sloppy mistakes and conceded at will against average teams.
We always struggle more in the second half of games, which questions his HT tactics. He doesn’t get the best out of what he has, he doesn’t play to their strengths, he tries to fit them into what he believes is right, even if it’s not working.
Anyone got Sean Dyche’s number?
I’m willing to bet, if we brought him here (which the owners would never do) he would get a better tune out of these players and this squad than RM ever will..
It won’t happen, so I fear a long hard, frustrating season ahead.

Sean Dyche wouldn't touch our basket case club with two bargepole's unfortunately, I'd get a better tune out of our lot than the self confessed leaf eating egotist that's in charge at the moment 😀

As a practicing bhuddist Russell is supposed to get rid of his ego, he's got a bigger ego than most which is ironic really.
