• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Not sure whether you got my last message- couldn’t find it in „sent“. Over for Boro game on 11th March. Fancy a pre-match pint? Railway Globe Coopers Smiths No Sign wherever!

Did you get an answer?

I shall let you know my movements, we don’t normally think about them until the night before.

He looks far less broken than he did the last few weeks tbf

I said last week that he's got a strange demeanour at the moment. A month or so ago he looked properly broken, really depressed in the press conferences. The last 2 or 3 weeks he's been pretty nonplussed after defeats, smirking, smiling...something has changed. I'm fairly confident that he's agreed to leave at the end of the season and feels like this will no longer be his problem to deal with.

Heard the fans singing Swansea loves you more than you will know to Russell when he got sent off.

I find it odd that this gets sung a lot at away games.

Our performance was diabolical, how our set piece coach still has a job it's a mystery, because Fisher is a liability to an aerial ball.. he won't come for crosses and Luton should've scored two hitting the bar and fisher clambering because he wouldn't deal with it in the first place.. give the u21 kid or our new young keeper a go and send fish to the post office because he doesn't belong in the game to earn a living

I can sympathize with a keeper dropping a high ball, but Luton's goal came from Fisher failing to smother a low ball. He made the same mistake later in the game and nearly gifted another goal. This is basic goalkeeping technique - and he can't do it. I agree with you, try someone else, anyone else.

Looked to me like he was watching a luton player and fearing a clattering, similar situation for his 2nd fukup. Doesn't seem particularly brave for a keeper.

He doesn't seem like a keeper of any sorts to be honest, an absolute car crash waiting to happen.

Commonly known in the dressing room as iron fist.

Aye like Fisher is intelligent enough to hold down a job at the Royal Mail

It's not that.
He's going to lift a fragile parcel...
And promptly drop it at someone's feet
