That convoy heading to Kyiv, this is starting to look ominous.

This escalates big time from here I think.

I get the same feeling. What started out as a bit of a damp squib is now on an exponential curve towards doom. This mornings footage of Kharkiv is shocking to say the least, innocent civilians going about their necessary movements and getting obliterated.

European nationals being killed in cold blood, Indian national also killed today. With that convoy heading to Kyiv there is surely no chance of them holding out much longer, what happens when they get there? Kill Zelenskyy, Vitali Klitschko and other long time Putin critics? He has completely lost his mind and where I previously doubted this would escalate any further after the sanctions, I'm starting to think it is now inevitable.

Hard to see any ultimate option other than calling his nuclear bluff, and if it’s not a bluff then kiss your ass goodbye. NATO bloke is trying cowardice and capitulation as an option of choice I see, and the twat Johnson still thinks it’s a photo op. Probably wondering if millions of deaths would help people forget about his partywank.

Bojo had an absolute roasting from a female Ukrainian reporter on the BBC. He could not look her in the face and she called him basically a coward. Which is right.

I can't stand the bloke, but his hands are tied here surely?

We are dealing with a mentally ill dictator who has access to nuclear missiles. Unless a NATO state is attacked, we aren't going to be doing alot. Whether that changes now civilians are being killed I don't know, but it is a massive call to make with potentially catastrophic consequences.

I saw that. She was basically asking for military aid and he just had to admit in the end that we simply don’t have the tools for job. Only a few short months since he scoffed at the idea of land wars being fought by troops and tanks. The man is an imbecile and even worse, a criminal. The EU is pulling together and I bet he hadn’t used it as the bogeyman in his mad power grab now.

He’s just this minute backtracked on Liz Truss’s words about endorsing UK volunteers fighting for Ukraine when directly asked in Estonia. Austerity has reduced our military to a token mascot.

Looking ominous isn't it. They've been phenomenal but sheer number of Russians is worrying. They've never been afraid to sacrifice their young men either, cunts.

They are completely exposed though - forty odd miles queued up. They could be taken out in a heartbeat if we had the inclination.

Read somewhere that someone close to an ex-special forces serviceman is furious over her comments as it now makes them a legitimate target.

You'd think so but I don't understand the subject enough to say that for sure. Maybe they believe they have enough surface to air defences to repel an aerial attack. 40-miles of carpet bombing does sound appealing though

Is the world going to standby and watch Russia circle Kiev and Kharkiv and kill all the Ukranians which is very much on the cards. Can't see Ukraine surrendering. I would have thought someone would help them slowing their convey of genocide down.

We are delaying and hoping someone takes Putin out, Russia revolts or their troops down tools. I’ve no doubt we could take out those tanks but the price would probably be another world war, and then we definitely wouldn’t have the resources to fight Russia and China and we would be viewed as the aggressor.

🤨

NATO could wipe Russia out no problem if it came to it. Their soldiers are spluttering to Kiev in 70s era bangers and eating MRE's that expired in 2015. They're a bigger laughing stock than anyone realised. Unfortunately though they're a laughing stock with a lot of nukes and a twat not afraid to use them

Going into Ukraine will start WW3 but there's no way we'd be seen as aggressors after Russia has instigated the entire thing and commited numerous war crimes already

Hopefully Ukraine have a plan for that convey. You would like to think the nearer Russia got to Kiev the more obstacles they would encounter.

Air firepower would literally wipe them out in minutes, not that I want to see that happen as the soldiers aren’t to blame for this, but it shows how I unprepared, and undertrained the Russians are for this conflict.
