I was 9 years old during that tournament and it's the first football event that I clearly remember. I still smile when I think of Schillaci, Baggio, Roger Milla, Cameroon beating Argentina and kicking them off the pitch, Voller and Rijkaard's spitting incident, Gazza's tears, Nessun Dorma, etc...

The best WC in my lifetime. Schillaci was a late call up for Italy IIRC and owned the tournament. Steve Bull playing for England, spitting and mad German goalkeepers, what a tournament.
