• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just had a peep on the Anus daily liar, they are calling for them to boycott the game here. Apparently they want to take over the city like the old days with no bubble.
Bunch of fckn skip rats.

wouldn’t make much difference anyway. They’ve been the quietest away fans down here for the last few seasons by quite a bit.

It takes someone very special to look at the events of recent days and decide the best thing to do is get a bunch of football supporters to 'invade' their rival's town centre and presumably go around looking for trouble to prove how proper naughty they are.

Only thing they have had to cheer about down here in over a decade was Cullen missing the penalty last season. Haven't scored down here for an eternity.

Last time they scored here in front of our fans was Craig Bellamy's late winner in Feb 2011.

Since that time we've been promoted to the PL, spent 7 years there, won the League Cup, and came back down; they've been promoted twice and got relegated immediately, and lost a League Cup final; Wales qualified for and appeared in three major international tournaments; the Beatles released a new song, despite two of their members being dead; the entire 8 seasons of Game Of Thrones was started and concluded; we've had four general elections and a Brexit referendum; no fewer than six Prime Ministers; and Bellamy himself is now Wales manager

😂

Brilliant, seems like a whole lifetime ago.
