Who’s the hobby player for them? You’d swear a crime had been committed against him. Kin ell.

That ginger sprout that fell down like a sack of spuds just outside our box?

I think we've been fine. Played them perfectly. We are set up for anything Colin tries and to defend a 1-0. Of course things never go to plan, but it was always going to be a tightie. If we get two we will get three, but I think it's more about stifling them now, and this is the formation for it. Ayew needs to stop giving the ball away. If he hadn't scored I would be annoyed with him, but the goal was the x factor we needed, even with the deflection.

I think we are actually playing reasonably well and it's bloody good practice for the scum, who also match up men and stifle and try and play on the break. My bet is that this is a very similar game to two weeks time.

What we can't do is lose concentration. A two goal buffer would be a blessed relief.

As interesting as our set up is if we are going to stick with it we need a bit more going forward.
Andre took his goal well but keeps dropping into midfield to pick the ball up and, with the best will in the world, our midfielders aren't the type to sprint into the gaps this creates and finish.

More open game in the second half, fancy us to score again.

Was always going to be difficult to get any sort of rhythm going against a Warnock side, but it's nice to still be in front even after mostly getting dragged down to their level. Just think we need to up our pace and movement a bit.

This.

just like you , a little while ago I was saying to the wife that when we play poor footballing sides we always seem to get dragged down to their level. We have done for years and it annoys me somewhat.

That's a lovely offer Swanjaxs but I'll have to decline.

He's the ginger sprout who scored 2 against us up there.

Snap him please

He was still banging on to anyone who’d listen going down the tunnel at halftime.
