• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

No shame in that result at all.

Losing by two goals to one of the best teams in Europe is no biggie.

Good experience for our young guns.

Scoreline was right and outcome was what we expected.

1st goal was a sucker punch, nativity for the 2nd and 3rd goal. Was a good run out with positives to take from it.

*Morris looks a useful player(sorry Dar)
*Joel looks to have a future but got caught out probably due to lack of games.
*Whittaker got his goal

This is history in the making. 40 years ago almost to the month we lost 0 - 5 at home to Middlesboro in the FA Cup in the old 2nd Division (Championship), and a few months later we were promoted to the old 1st Division (Premier League).

We're on our way. 😇

I feel after that match very similarly to how I felt losing 4-0 on the opening day of our Premier League adventure.

We weren’t made to look silly and at times actually looked decent.

Guehi was immense as usual...

Latibeaudiere looks like he’s got something about him too..

... Morris and Whittaker look like the real deal who will push both Ayew & Lowe.

Funny enough I was going to mention that. It's the best I think I ever saw us play and we lost 0-5. But you knew there was something special there that day.

J Jenas is an idiot. Coopers an Eng national coach, and hes won a junior World Cup offs, and he thinks he can do better... shut up, your commentary is crap and so is Lescotts

Lowe was the biggest disappointment for me tonight. Looked way out of his depth.

I was surprised Lowe started. He looks a little jaded to me, maybe could have been rested. I'm glad Ayew was.
