• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Arriola didn't stop running when he came on, looks like him and Morris will add some pace for the 2nd half of the season

Scoreline was right and outcome was what we expected.

1st goal was a sucker punch, nativity for the 2nd and 3rd goal. Was a good run out with positives to take from it.

*Morris looks a useful player(sorry Dar)
*Joel looks to have a future but got caught out probably due to lack of games.
*Whittaker got his goal

Nativity I like it!

Well Jesus scored. 😂

Cant gift a side like them anything, putting result aside, many pluses tonight. No injuries, no suspensions, didn't get battered and the new lads showing promise so much that there is now competition for places. Onwards and upwards, batter Sheff Weds now.

No shame in that result at all.

Losing by two goals to one of the best teams in Europe is no biggie.

Good experience for our young guns.

Nice to see some perspective. 👍

A lesser team would have crumbled and conceded 5 or 6 after going 3 down so early in the 2nd half. A good experience for the youngsters and respectability intact.

Glad it’s out of the way. No shame in the scoreline but I don’t feel the performance really represented us very well. A shot to nothing cup game so it doesn’t matter and I don’t expect a hangover.

Lowe was the biggest disappointment for me tonight. Looked way out of his depth.
I was surprised Lowe started. He looks a little jaded to me, maybe could have been rested. I'm glad Ayew was.

I'm sure andre will be looking at both morris and arieloa (sp) and thinking yes.

Ayew would have worked his socks off, probably to no avail, so wasted energy etc. FB? For me, tonight was all about ensuring confidence remained intact - I think we just about achieved that. Cooper delayed the subs too long for me - in fairness to him this is one of very few aspects to him that needs work, and Man C sort of took their foot off the gas. No injuries, pride intact, some debutants blooded so all in all a decent night - I think! Would have been interesting had we been there though - the atmosphere last time was buzzing. Onwards and upwards eh!
