• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I'm in an office pretending to be at work, and watching the stats on the BBC website. If they're correct that we've had 3 (three) shots on target and Bournemouth have had 10, then a draw is a great result.

We were 3 nil up you fucking idiot!!!!

Referee was a disgrace. Yet again we show zero game management when holding a big lead and coming under pressure. Part of the learning curve but it ain't half irritating.

Need to keep a defensive shape like under Cooper in situations like that, but were all over the place. Need to work on that. 8 points dropped now in the last few weeks.

Ref been an utter disgrace tonight

He has. But it’s embarrassing that we’ve got ‘fans’ who thing we’re the disgrace. The lads have run their socks off against a promotion favourite with the budget to buy whoever they want in this league. On another day this last 20 minutes is played against 10 men and their first goal doesn’t happen.

Soft and nieve im afraid. Game management. We like a Spanish side... Pretty football but as soon as it gets rough we crumble.

It’s ok, they are better than us. Plus losing Ben when Heffer came on, hurt us badly. It’s not like Reading. We just need to work out how to be more compact when we have clear water with a lead. Good game in the end. We certainly aren’t a disgrace or particularly shambolic. Maybe need more flexibility. Bennett and a 442 might have been better at 3-0. We certainly needed a proper centre back on the bench even if it was Bennett or Burns.

If we're going to do anything next season, we need to hold on to Piroe and Obafemi (probably a one in ten chance!) and we need to sign two or three big, strong, mobile defenders. Rodon on loan, anybody? Oh yes, and VAR in the Championship would be nice, to negate the shyte refs we're getting.

That doesn’t happen:

A) Cabango isn’t cynically injured by Lowe

B) Kieffer Moore gets sent off (I expect he may get a retrospective ban - if the ref sees it there’s no way he stays on)

Because Ryan Manning conceded a penalty, after being sent off a few games ago, just how many points has he cost us recently?

EDIT: "then a draw is a great result - - 'given our lack of shots on goal' - OK?

I was going to give this a like and then you mentioned Bennett. Are you Cooper in disguise?

They could out play us, so the resorted to the dark arts and kicking lumps out of us. The ref was a twat. Dont like Parker either. A draw was probably what I'd have taken before kick off. Well done lads.

We have to play the ref, if he's gunna let thuggery go on we have to match it then tonight doesn't happen. Soft as shit for years

It's an awful post in fairness

Simply to negate Moore and simply because we have no one else. Oh, and simply because we were 3-0 ahead.

Trouble is you just know that we'd be the team that got the red card.
