• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

This is turning into an interesting evening from a done season, Preston vs Blackburn and we need a draw realistically and WBA vs Sunderland tomorrow 12pm.. lmfao, imagine

Great result and performance, just goes to show what we could have achieved if that stretch of games where we won only 3 in 20(?) had produced a few less points given away. Frustrating, but it usually is watching the Swans.

Then again, we've won 1 more game than we've lost and our goal difference is +3.

Sounds about right to me.

The only complaint I could have about that 2nd half is that we were too nice and it seemed we didn't want to embarrass them. We could have put on the pressure and put 5 or 6 past them but eased up the pressure when we went 3-0 up - its why our goal difference is only just barely in the positive - when we win we rarely hammer sides but when we don't turn up teams batter us by 3 or 4 or 5.
They went 5 at the back in the second half, but couldn't get the ball to counter. Great afternoon for us.👍

If we'd scored a 4th, we'd have gone above Norwich on goals scored.

Should have been a penalty there...

Stone waller, as a clear a hand ball as you'd ever see, few clear freekicks he didn't give us either.

So thats now 19 from 21 and along with Preston another of the playoff chasing rivals dispatched.

Just goes to show how much that run of 3 wins in 21 games hurt us that even with that run we are only three points off the playoffs.

Now all we need is a draw this evening, a draw tomorrow, Blackburn and Brom to lose midweek, Millwall to lose Friday night and we can go to Hull with something to play for. Simple.

First win against them in 6 attempts and what a way to end that run, shoving it right up them at Carrow Rd, How's those eggs looking Delia [lol]

Fantastic result and run of form.
I'm just baffled how you can switch these extreme's of performance.

Will be an interesting game to keep an eye on tonight, anything but a Blackburn win is good but a draw is ideal.
