• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Excellent post Steve.
It is starting to look like freefall now - like when we were starting to drop down the leagues after Toshack. Our squad is looking paper this with young kids and and loans. We have a few quality players left on the books but what happens if they have enough or worse they upset Martin.

Consider Whittaker
Here s a kid who was treat3d with distain by Martin hen loaned out to Plymouth where he was outstanding. Now recalled,he looks as he did before, forlorn and forgotten and utterly without confidence .this has been clearly siphoned from him in a short space of time which goes to show just how damaging Martin and his hatred of certain players is.

or he's playing at a higher level and has been found out.

Whittaker found form when reinvented as a no. 10 at Plymouth, he's come back and seems to be leading the line more often than not, or back out on the wing, with Piroe asked to drift away from goal into pockets of space.

It’s a fair riposte and delivered in a decent manner ,so thanks

I would suggest his body language suggests he hates every minute under Martin and shares the contempt for the man Oberfemi,Paterson,Oxy Flex,Stevens and every other goddam poor bugger made to sit and watch and listen to his utter shite .
It’s never his fault . It is always others . They can’t all be wrong

Just as much as his contempt for certain players is insightful, his love for others who would struggle to get into any other Championship team, equally is. Giving Latibaudiere "Lats" the captaincy for a match was a bizarre move. Fisher is defended by him incessantly. I get the feeling that he loves ",yes men". Which Manning was at first, though you get the feeling that there's an inevitable end to the love affair, further down the line. Grimes, equally, can do no wrong, despite performances way below par. I'm the first to criticise Grimes for his negativity, but Martin never seems to claim that the tactics are his, rather that the players don't follow "the process" properly. The players look uninspired, over-coached, and lacking in the belief to express their individuality, something Ollie Cooper possessed, but now seems to be disappearing from his game. For me, this man is nothing but a poisoner, and is permeating the whole club. And don't get me started on those post match ramblings, which get more and more bizarre every week.

Last night was the first game I've seen live for a while and it is still hard to process.
I loathed Cooper but I hate Mental Martin ten times more.
We are wasting our time with scum owners, scum supporters trust, a mental manager, crap players and no money.
The only decision to make for Saturday is whether to put £100 or £200 on Luton at even money. I sort of want us to lose 20-0 just to make a point to the yank bastards.
The scum will crucify us in April....

It totally shows where we are with this deluded manager, when like you, I hope we loose by a shed-full, to bring it home to the Yanks, this charlatan’s job is now untenable.
I’ve never been so depressed about The Swans, since when we nearly folded.
