• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Nice to see a team whose defending is more comical than ours.

Hull are shocking but you can only beat what’s in front of you and we’ve been excellent today. Fair play to the lads.

We've got to beat the shyte sides to stay in this league, we sure as hell won't be beating many of the top sides.

I dont agree mate. We should be top 4 now. Even with our suicide squad the probability of losing all those late goals is tiny. It will not keep happening. We are a good side. Just need organising. Can Martin put a lid on his ego and mix it up. I don’t know. I have no confidence in him. No matter how crap Hull are (and they are), that was bloody good today. It would be churlish to try and diminish it. And that is 7 points from 4 and, yes, it really should be 10.

The Sky coverage cut to the Hull owner in the stands once or twice, he looked distinctly unimpressed. Get a bet on the next manager to be sacked......

I’ll add, just think about that. 10 from four. QPR, Stoke, Sheffield U and Hull. And would have been utterly deserved. The Russ Out mob, of which I was/am one, need to wind their necks in.

If only it was 10 from 4

Alongside the late goals, Sky said we had a 6% conversion rate on shots coming in to today's game. That is awful and will surely improve.

- Keep playing this way rather than return to possession for possession's sake.
- Work on our finishing.
- Have training drills focusing on defending late in games.
- Keep playing the younger players and keep the likes of Paterson and Ntcham off the pitch unless they show a great improvement in training and earn another chance.

No reason we can't be comfortably top half by the World Cup break if current form continues.

It's no good saying that, Monny, those collapses DID happen, we didn't dream them. it's an "if my uncle had tits" argument. The fact we collapsed in those games shows that we're fundamentally weak mentally, defensively. We're a mid table team at best.

Nah mun. Two own goals and other teams taking their one real chance. In the last minute? Not going to keep happening.

Great point. My uncle did have bigger tits than my aunt. She had the balls too.

3 points, happy days.

Saying that we looked woefully low on quality once Allen went off, thankfully Hull handed it to us on a plate.

Always said to be relegated in this league you have to be proper shite, being just shite is often enough to stay up.

IMO, we will be nowhere near relegation unless Russ takes leave of his senses.

The last 3 games since Russ has tweaked the system (either by choice or told to from above) we have looked a much better team and creating plenty of chances, also agree with leaving Paterson and Ntcham away from the team until they put the effort in, I thought Cundle was excellent when he came on, and Oli Cooper? How good is that boy bloody hell.

That felt a lot like the Millwall game, minus the late collapse. We were all over them for 20 minutes and should have been 3-0 up at half time. Bit of lull then until we scored, but a completely deserved comfortable win. They were atrocious mind, think Russ will be on the phone to r their centre half who gave two goals away, he’ll fit right in.

Cundle was a more than adequate replacement for Joey.

Was so refreshing to see Cooper and Cundle buzzing around everywhere behind the midfield. We need to work on finding them earlier. They are both fearless when it comes to receiving and turning on a sixpence.
