Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Ref books Cooper for obstruction but failed to book Boro defender earlier for pulling Ronald back in final third after being skinned, Very poor.

Very poor. We've been getting worse season after season since we came down (and before that obviously, which is why we went down). It's not as if we haven't had some decent and half decent managers either. But this is easily the worse yet, and we haven't had any half decent managers this season. We've been one bad decision away from relegation for a while, and with several bad decisions from the owners/management team this season it'll be a miracle if we're still in this league in a couple of years.
Quality in the side has been desperately depleted year on year. We can't keep selling our best players and replacing them with crap. The drop in to league one is only a matter of time.

Wednesday are winning, teams down the bottom are picking up points and we’re playing like this. We’re still not out of it you know. With the games we’ve got left, especially at home, that we can drag ourselves to another 2-3 points, but fuck knows if we keep playing like this pile of shite.
If we lose to Rotherham, and Millwall did, I think we could be in for a last game shootout with Millwall.

And there’s the killer

That's that then. Another miserable afternoon. Can we wake up and start giving the yanks some grief at the next home match? They're getting away with running us into the ground at the moment.

2-0. The most predicable scoreline of the season. Sadly our brave players post Cardiff game nowhere to be seen
