Season 24/25 | The Official Match Day Thread | Swansea City 3 Oxford United 3 | Att: 19,672 | 3rd May 2025 | The EFL Championship

I’ve watched Delcroix closely since the conversation yesterday about him over Darling. In the opening ten minutes he has sold himself three times, been caught out of position twice and and given it away several times too
He's not for me. Looks confused at times and no strength. Not sure why people are rating him.

As far as last day dead rubbers go, that first half was pretty decent entertainment.

It looks like Luton will go down unless something dramatic happens. Which would be quite amusing.

Looks like an end of season game, quacks like an end of season game….

If it wasn’t for the send off for Allen and Naughts I’d vote to just end this one now and get it over with.

Half time thoughts:

Definitely not an "on the beach" performance, the lads are making a good fist of it

Eom's goal was class, shows just how far he has come confidence wise since getting that first goal for us under Sheehan he looks a threat every time he gets the ball now

Delcroix is definitely a hard pass from me, I have made a point of watching him to see if he would be a player worth trying to keep and he has made mistake after mistake and played a huge part in our defence looking so dodgy. He also gave away the free kick completely unnecessarily that they got their equalizer from.

I'd rather see Hull down cos their owner thinks he knows better just like the Cardiff owners. They had Roseinior last season. In his first season they finished 7th and the owner, not football upper management, fired him over a difference of playing philosophy. He wanted more aggressive attacking football. Another example like Cardiff and others that non football people shouldn't be making these calls.

EOM has been superb since around the time Sheehan took over. Superb goal

Cabango should have done better for their goal. Think he may even have shouldered it straight up in the air.
