Season 24/25 | The Official Match Day Thread | Swansea City 3 Oxford United 3 | Att: 19,672 | 3rd May 2025 | The EFL Championship

Yes the Oxford supporters were really friendly nice people. Nice touch when the Oxford coaches were leaving was both sets of fans waving goodbye to each other, with just the odd dickhead giving the handshandy sign.
Often wondered if we'd ever find a club we'd properly get on with. Back to normal next season probably.

I’m not saying he looked good today but I felt he was losing his man and was ready to go for the right pass.
It’s only opinions but could be why we’ve scored so few goals. Hopefully these new boys will light it up

He had two perfectly good balls across the box that he nearly reached. He nearly does lots of things.

He did catch a volley really nicely though. It was 10 yards wide, but he caught it beautifully.

Other than that he was pretty poor I thought.

Darling looked like he was limping and knee bandaged up..

Unless somebody strapped a new contract to his leg weighing him down 😂

Apparently, some decent clubs across Europe are monitoring Vipotnik's progress. Today, it took me until the 43rd minute to realize he had started. Funny old game, eh?

End of season game which we probably should have won but for some reason it doesn't seem to matter that we drew. I very emotional occasion with two massive servants of the club calling it a day and they both showed their class on the pitch.
We score three lovely goals and even though Eom's was magnificent it was superb seeing Cullen meet that cross with such symmetry and precision :) - I'm not sure how the second goal came about for them because that guy looked a mile offside just before the corner. Yes we gifted them the 3rd and O'Brien messed up the backpass and then the tackle which tarred his performance but we really need his presence on the pitch because he seems to make us tick.
Don't know if it is just mis-timing but Vip could have scored so many more this season.
Erm, some people think that Delcroix is talented but he seems to have his head in the clouds too bloody often for me.

My issue with Vip is he doesn't look for space. Doesn't relish the physical battle, very little pace and doesn't press with any urgency. I guess given space he has an eye for goal. How many times today was the ball fizzed across their 6 yard box, he was nowhere to be seen and rightly subbed.
