Season 24/25 | The Official Match Night Thread | Swansea City 3 Plymouth Argyle 0 | Att: 14,978 | The EFL Championship

Just got home.

Match report

We could have and should have doubled or trebled the score.

Apart from that not a bad nights work. 😁

There was a few times in that 2nd half when we got a shot off when a bit of creativity could have opened up a clearer chance for me.

I think we could have had more than 8 shots on target if we had a bit more creativity. There was a few aimless crosses and passes 2nd half when there was players in open space if the player had got their head up.
You're just being awkward for the sake of being awkward, again.

Agreed, it was only a lack of composure (odd considering we were three up and had no pressure) that stopped us from having our biggest win in decades.

Even the 7-1 battering of Bristol City 20 years ago wasn't this one sided.

I think composure is a better wording than creativity like Daps is saying. The amount of shots taken and chances created proves we were as creative as we've been in a long time last night. It was the final pass, cross or shot that was lacking in the second half, which is more about composure.

I get Daps is frustrated that we didn't convert our dominance into more goals (not that it really matters), but complaining we lacked creativity last night doesn't make sense.

If you told Daps water was wet, he'd argue it wasn't.

The one thing that team didn't lack last night was creativity from beginning to end. A lack of composure upon times yes, saying they didn't create enough is just bizarre.

Absolutely disgusted with Josh Key for his goal last night.
A) What was he doing so far forward?
B) There was clearly a back pass to Vigeroux which was a better option

He's clearly forgotten everything Williams was teaching him.

Well....

The c***s shot.

Should have had 8. Plymouth were, indeed gash, but by god we put them to the sword ruthlessly. Now we can sit back and watch the rats in a sack at the bottom. Let's hope that the biggest most disgusting rats get exterminated.

Some Plymouth stats for those of us that enjoy that sort of thing...

Plymouth are the team we've played the most in league games with 84 matches played, and they join Barnsley as the team we've beaten the most with 34 wins. They also go to second place on the list of teams we've beaten the most at home with 24 wins against them, joint with Hull & Preston. Barnsley are out in front with 25 defeats in Swansea.

Pathetic attempt at a cross, VIp was eagerly awaiting the perfect delivery, only to see that!
