Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Blackburn Rovers 1 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

We have little quality all over.

Only plus points for me so far this season are Vigouroux, Cabango and Darling.

Mention in dispatches to Franco perhaps.

Quality wise, 4/10 is about right at the moment I'd say...
Absolute no goal threats from the wings and the stats back that up with Ronald and Bianchini.
Cullen a striker who hasn't hit double figures in the league and Vipotnik a young striker coming to a new country.

I think the recruitment has been decent but we were left far too short.
Up top last season we had options from Yates, Cullen, Lowe, Mykolo!
We now have 2!

He was offered it but at reduced terms.
Bosses are cutting the wage bill for obvious reasons and to make it look good on paper for any future investment.
Then what do we expect when we lose the midfielder who had more goals and assists than all other midfielders combined?
I don’t expect us to score anymore.

We simply can't keep blaming managers.

There are aspects of Williams I don't like - playing Abdullai out of position on the wing being one of them - but our squad is pants.

The biggest problem is elements of our fanbase who had some bizarre notion that we might be outside bets for the play offs. They were, and still are, living in cloud cuckoo land.

If we finish 21st we should be absolutely delighted.

Sacking Williams is not the answer. And certainly not while we're 13th and only losing games by the odd goal. Get a grip mun.

I'm surprised Williams wasn't mentioned with the England job.

We're top 10 on outlay, we're currently 13th and have a manager on 35% win rate out of 35 games.. he's gone, you're accepting the nonsense, coaches who are far better get the sack on the continent.. 6 million was spent in the summer, top 10 spend without what's in the squad already.. bye bye luke like

It's not cobblers, Bianchini, Vipotnik and Eom cost 6 million plus
Give the breakdown on the fees for those please?

You are also forgetting the 900k on Franco and 250k for Viguroux.

I think we can just put the 2m for Bianchini..........its like me panting 2M for a car that should have only cost 10k.

In fairness, just cut and paste Yates for Bianchini.

This all lands on Watson and Coleman's shitty old doorstep, Jon BigToe cost a few bob, Tymon, a couple of million too.

And we all reckon big nose was playing at football manager 😂

Cuckoo 🐧

Losing 1 - 0 away may be a profitable bet from now on.
