Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Blackburn Rovers 1 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

Losing 1 - 0 away may be a profitable bet from now on.
Four “tricky” away fixtures, four 1 - 0 defeats all with loads of possession and as much threat as a dead sheep.

That cnt can fuck off back to Brentford too
Please give our own a chance instead of paying for journeyman old pros and premier league Wannabees.Recriuitment at right age a much better idea. Instead of building whole team that wasn't broken we needed 2 goalscorers.

In fairness, just cut and paste Yates for Bianchini.

This all lands on Watson and Coleman's shitty old doorstep, Jon BigToe cost a few bob, Tymon, a couple of million too.

And we all reckon big nose was playing at football manager 😂

Cuckoo 🐧
Fair point

Andrew average and magic daps calling the shots.. yeah OK boys.. we spent 6 million this summer and more
We could spend 6M on one player from the conference, it's hardly something to be proud of.
We should be asking questions as to what the 6M was spent on and why we didn't bring players in to positions that we knew we needed after the last game of last season.

Calling for the manager to be sacked is not going to solve the source of the issues and 12 months time we will be having the same discussion regards a new manager.
How long does it take for the penny to drop!

Our attacking output on the ball is astonishingly ineffective; like, teams that put 10 men behind the ball away at Prime Barcelona get their strikers on the ball more than us.

Take a guess at how many touches our strikers had today.

The answer:
Cullen -
12, in 65 minutes

Vipotnik -
A staggering, 3, in 35 minutes.

Even as a Grimes apologist, he was pants today. Had 131 touches, for what it's worth.

We don't move the ball forward quick enough.

Faffing about with the back means our midfield needs to drop which allows the opposition to close the space.

At the moment we could have Haaland up front and he'd struggle to get a shot on goal let alone score.

Every now and again I'd love to see us ping the ball over the top of the fullback to allow our wingers to chase on to it.

Playing one up front just seems to be self-defeating this season - whether it's the personnel or the tactics (or both).

It could be the complete absence of a no.10 worth the name since Pato left, that leaves them isolated - combined with wingers who rarely try to find them. Something has to change there - either 2 upfront or find a no 10 with a pulse as a free agent and put him in. Just a complete absence of anything in and around the box for us right now.

I really, REALLY wish Grimes would feck off, killing this team and absolutely light years away from being any sort of captain. I'd rather watch the under 21s play. We're relegation fodder. And Williams 'mentor', Martin, showing why this possession for possession's sake football isn't worth a w**k.
Spoken like a pro and a legend here and at my second club. Right to say the U21 are our positive. I am glad we don't have more numbers like this. Last transfer window we needed 2 more strikers.
