• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They can't play Jerry Yates because he's on loan from us, and they don't have a recognised striker available because of injuries. Now that we've got scoring goals out of our system I'll predict 0 - 1 to the Swans.
FFS Glyn, you've done it now.

Just realised that this game is 'category A', and so the club are charging £32.50 for a ticket. How do they work any of these categories out? Over £30 to play a team in the relegation zone (and were only ever going to be lower half), but Norwich and Sheffield United - genuine promotion/play-off contenders - are Category C? Madness.

Edit: This was me talking about the Swans pricing for Portsmouth, completely forgetting that this match thread is for the Derby game. I can be a bit thick x
I would think that the Category is based on potential for trouble rather than position in table ?

Or three CB's with Pedersen as the left one of those, with the WB's replacing our non existent wingers.
Meh. It’s the same players, same understanding of the game, same instructions. Rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic springs to mind.

We’ve had a solid foundation so far in fairness to them. I hope we get back to that as a minimum tonight. Yes, it would be nice to have more of an attacking threat. I think we’re quite limited in what we can do there.

Evening lads, looking forward to a slice of mid week footy. Hope we wont be disappointed.
