Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Hull City 2 Swansea City 1 | The EFL Championship

You're right, again.
This is all on the manager - selection, set-up, culture, matey man-management, lack of tactical in-game nous, subs, lack of leadership, no class, no heritage, no pedigree, all shouty gruff uncouth bluster.

The Willy - all fur coat and no knickers, no nothing, no substance whatsoever other than a Martin cast-off, for good reason.

There's simply no case for his defense (along with his previous sacking baggage looming large yet again).

He's got to go now.
And massively telling that nobody has yet to proffer a case in his defense. Nada, nothing. Pretty damning, in so many ways.

You're not completely happy, are you?

We never do well when we have the chuckle brothers on the pitch. Grimes still passing sideways at 91 mins when we're 2-1 down. The guy is a clown I'm sorry. What does Williams see in him that I don't? He rarely looks to pass forward. His corners often don't beat the first man. He's just not a leader. Lukey boy, wake up, Grimes is not the captain. I've no idea what he's like as a person and I have no doubt he's a decent human but he's not good enough for that role. Luke, wake up and smell the coffee for God's sake! Oh and while you're at it see if you can get Fulton a job in the club shop.

Im not sure if I've calmed down yet. How is Grimes and ever present. Worse than that, how is he our captain. Worse than that why does Williams set up the team to fail. Worse than that why don't the journos ever ask proper questions.

It took me a long time to calm down as well. I haven't been as frustrated as that watching us for ages - possibly because Hull were pretty dire. I remember thinking in the first half that we were making them look like Barca-frikkin-lona. Time and again players would receive the ball with space in front of them but insist on playing back to either Darling/Cabango or Grimes. I'm all for keeping the ball but today was taking the piss.
