• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not even Cullen's mum thinks he's a nine, but Sheehan does. This is the sort of thing that make you question his judgement. Similarly with Fulton. So slow in thought and deed, and it showed for their (admittedly dubious) free kick that led to the goal. Allen should be on from the start of the second half. We need to play football. There's more than a hint of a similarity to the Derby game, where Sheehan set us up to try and go toe to toe with a more physical side, and unsurprisingly were inferior, and got a wholly undeserved win.

Our biggest strength under Sheehan has been winning the ball high up and playing the game in the opposition's half.

Millwall aren't letting us do that because they are just lumping it forward at every opportunity so we need to change the approach.

Get Vip on for Fulton, have Cullen close to him and use that as a platform to build attacks. Then defensively we need to stop getting dragged into physical battles and drop off a yard.

They’ve got some giants in their team, crikey. Squeaky bum time whenever they get any kind of set-piece opportunity in our half.

At the risk of sounding like Martin, we need to be braver on the ball. Our only way back in this is to play quicker and on the floor; play around and through these monsters. If it’s a scrappy, physical game we’ll find it very difficult to get anything.

yes it’s just bouncy panicball hoof at the moment. We’ll lose that kind of game against these.

Attacking 1/3rd % = lousy 50%, no discerning attacking intent, poor audition here by Sheezy

That was a half of football to sway me further away from Sheehan getting the gig. We’ve all seen why Cullen cannot play this role, but this selection happens all too often. Let’s see what the second half delivers.

Cullen likes to moan, but Ronald put a decent ball into the box towards the end of the half. Any decent striker would have got in front of the defender and stuck that in. Vip on I reckon.

Williams would have been slaughtered rightly, so Sheehan deserves to be too. No favouritism for stupid selection.

I dont think Sheehan has been the critical factor. I think O'Brien has. We have played a few shyte teams and hit a bit of form. Next season is going be fking tough whoever is in charge. I think we can do better than Sheehan, but also much, much worse.

A poor half but I'm not going to jump on Sheehan's back too much yet - he deserves some grace at the moment.

Absolutely no favouritism. He’s done a great deal towards earning the job, but I’m still only 80% convinced.
