• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Who were those two ladies interviewing each other on the pitch at half time? I know they have to sound a bit chipper and optimistic in the face of the facts, but the spin was hilarious. You'd have thought we were up against Real Madrid. Sorry, Wayne Rooney's Real Madrid.
One of them was pretty easy on the eye.

Oh, hello Mr Wallace.

Honestly play-offs were there this season.

Haven't played anywhere near our best and thrown away so many points but just be happy for a comfortable top half finish and build for next season!
Thats exactly what we say out here. We got a very good squad tht just needs managing better to win when the win is on. We squander. too much

A solid performance on the whole, we were the better side for most of it, but did the usual thing of shitting our pants for the last 15 minutes after they scored. I hate it when we do that.

How on earth a side as average and limited as us is up to 9th is beyond me, but I suppose that tells you how poor the quality in the Championship is.

I'm just glad it looks as if we'll be in no danger of relegation this season - that represents definite progress. That'll do for me.

We'd be in the playoffs if we hadn't if shit our pants the previous two games.

Madness but I've said all along we aren't far off being a top 6. Side

Four away wins this season, all of them 2-1 after we went 2-0 up.

We are clearly under achieving this term.
We are weaker than the (hefty) sum of our parts.
Our new owners have continued to provide the platform to kick on, only for under achieving managers (Martin, now Williams) to under achieve.
Tonight was yet another reminder to our new owners that we have deserved far better, far more consistent performances and results.

It's all a matter of opinion but I think Williams is doing a superb job.
If he wasn't part of Martin's backroom then I would suggest that he would be getting more praise aswell from certain quarters on here.
