Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Plymouth 1 Swansea 2 | The EFL Championship

Are you serious? The biggest of shifts? I used to watch him in the pre-match warm ups. He could barely be arsed to put one foot in front of the other! He was always destined to be a fat bar steward.
Only in his head and others with an agenda against a former manager.

Blaming it on a condition, a condition that narrows airways wheen sleeping and yet we all see him in that state last night.

Clearly highlights the lack of discipline in the guy.
A bad diet is one of the major contributions to the condition.

And let's not forget the poster in question is non other than the artist formerly known as Andy Cole.
Nothing else needs to be said.

The biggest obstacle holding Obafemi back is his appalling attitude, if he's blaming sleep apnoea for being overweight then that proves the point.
Personally, I think he's drinking in the last chance saloon at Plymouth...

Spot on.
Oh I have/he has got sleep apnoea so go easy on him!
He clearly isn't going easy on the KFC and McDonald's.

Young guy, earning good money who clearly enjoys the things in life a professional footballer should stay clear of.

It's early December and we're 4 points off the play-offs!!
We won't make the play-offs. Our run rate of points is 1.35 which equates to 62points over a season.

We'd have to average not far off 2 points a game, at least a 50% uplift from what we've achieved so far.

It's not a complaint as I certainly didn't expect us to be up there. But with the lost points we could have been

True in absolute terms today, but flawed. Watford have played two games fewer, one of which is at the piggery. Ok they might lose both, but it’s only when everyone has played equal games we will know how far off we are. More likely to be a 7 point gap I reckon, which, for me, fits more appropriately where we ‘are’ this season….about 10-15 points away at the end on 60-65 points. No saying we can’t up our game second half of season of course, but we’re not going up and nor should we with this team. If we did fluke it, next season would make Southampton look like Liverpool.

Literally, and a few other saloons too, by the look of him.

Kinda agree, but be interesting to see if/where we strengthen in January. If we do it'll be a welcome change to at least keep the season interesting until April.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d happily take play offs and promotion as soon as, but it could crush us as easily as help us. Hudds should have beaten Cooper’s Forest at Wembley with a fair wind, and the overachievement knackered them. Coventry also shot their bolt. I’d rather build a bit first to be stronger if/when we got there.

A bit harsh! Average, mediocre, slow - yes. Dark arts? A bit of timewasting maybe, but who doesn't do that, winning away from home?
If we're crap and poor, what does that make Argyle? League Two, in my opinion.

We can bemoan the lost points but we also have to be grateful for the ones we've pilfered as well. In several games we've come off the pitch with something to show for it when we really shouldn't have (Norwich the best example but there have been others too).

We're about right for where we are in the table right now.

I'm just happy we're much improved on last season (so far anyway)

How they can say that after their terrible showing when they won 1-0 last season down here is beyond me. Now that was a shitshow

We've had the same comments from opposing fans for years, even when we were rising to the Prem, nothing new

You’re right.
Martin callously shunned and ostracised him for his sleep apnoea illness. Left him rotting on the sidelines, regardless. He never recovered.
A better manager would have leveraged the undoubted latent talents - the fella always put in the biggest of shifts.
Who is this 🤡
