• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Would hope to have Franco for this but likely he will miss out if he has to have some surgery to fix his teeth.

This will almost certainly come too soon for Ginnelly, so likely we will see the Grimes-Fulton axis rear its ugly head. I would make a strong argument though for Abdulai to come in, I mean defensive midfield is his actual preferred position then Grimes could play a little further forward.

The other possibility is to play Key in his position and Naughton as a full back who will actually defend.

Think Fulton will start, his experience at least might help what will be a hostile environment.

Think we will see a Plymouth away line up

3 games in 6 games.

What side would you go for on New Years Day?

I imagine Naughton, Fulton, Peart Harris and Vipotnik will come in.

I’d like another look at Nathan Tjoe On at some point.

I'd consider an unchanged team if Franco is available. Tiredness didn't seem to be a problem yesterday. Let's not create reasons for mass changes that aren't there. If the stats are showing the players haven't dropped levels over Christmas, let's run it back.

If Franco is not available, I guess we'll see Fulton, but I'd rather try something else, even Abdulai or MPH (who is a central midfielder after all, if not a defensive one).

In reality I expect LW will make changes, and bring Fulton in regardless, as well as Vipotnik for Bianchini, maybe give Naughton some minutes.

This isn't a game for not match fit fringe players

This will be a frantic affair

Interesting Pompey rested 5 key players for the Bristol City game at the weekend ready for this home game...

Hoping Franco puts in an appearance 🙏

Huge 2 games now coming up. Teams above us have potentially vulnerable new yr day fixtures. Iff we can pinch another win with the changes Luke will inevitably make, then the Baggies game takes on huge significance.
Realistically we won't win both, but 4 points keeps us ' interested '. Tiredness won't just affect us and let's not forget how fckn awful Pompey we're down here.
That said, our showing at Hull needs no repeat.
