The only possible reason for this is to demonstrate how dreadful we are once we replace two or three players. To encourage our new ‘billionaire’ owners to spend a tiny amount of money.

It’s not good enough that fans have spent a fortune travelling for this and we aren’t even doing the best we possibly can.

Exactly right. He is having yet another shocker. When did he last actually tackle anyone. And he’s never where he should be (see the second goal). The deep midfielder should be in the middle challenging not standing lazily watching them score.
