The lack of effort from Peart Harris and Grimes is an absolute joke. The others are trying a little bit they’re just crap.

The only possible reason for this is to demonstrate how dreadful we are once we replace two or three players. To encourage our new ‘billionaire’ owners to spend a tiny amount of money.

It’s not good enough that fans have spent a fortune travelling for this and we aren’t even doing the best we possibly can.

I do completely agree with those above though that the selection is completely wrong.

We could have blooded a few promising youngsters like Kyrell Wilson and rewarded him for his contract with a place on the bench and a possible debut.

Instead MPH is currently doing exactly zero MPH, McLaughlin has shown that we would be better off with just about any keeper from the youth set up and not a single defender from the u23's who actually plays as a centre half gets even a sniff of the first team set up on the bench.
