Not sure about the can't do better comment. Williams has us playing with one hand tied behind our backs.
Agreed, most managers wouldn't be asking our full backs to play as midfielders leaving almost every attacking side with the freedom of the stadium to attack us down our flanks every single game.

Or asking Grimes to drop in as a third centre half every single game

I wasn't expecting much before the line ups were released. However, that was worse than I expected. Williams is an utter arsewipe.

Sorry Dibling was just asked if that's his best performance.

His response was "no, just a few tap-ins"

Should have added against a shit team

And, possibly our worst keeper EVER! 😂
Worse than Alan Tate? :D

Though I am pretty sure I remember he kept a clean sheet when he had to replace De Vries after he was fouled off the pitch by the QPR rugby team that day.

Martinez never did name a bench without a goalkeeper after that one

I honestly don’t think changing the manager is the best use of our finances. I don’t care if he goes, but no one could do anything much with this utter crap we have in our squad. Unless the owners want to make a significant investment and start again. In which case bring it on.
This is the weakest, most disjointed squad we’ve had in 20 odd years.
The root cause is poor recruitment and continually selling any player with any value.

Let’s be honest, Southampton away was always going to be tough, picking a shocking side didn’t help.
Time for Williams to move on, we haven’t moved forward one little bit since he’s come in.
I think Williams is totally hopeless and at least two leagues above his level of competence, but Grimes has to go too, and a number of other players must be replaced, or the next bloke has no chance.
