As long as we keep appointing coaches who obsess over stats, think racking up completed passes and possession is a sure fire way to progress, and clearly have one eye on the next job then we're not going to get anywhere.

Give me an old head. A Mowbray type who has been there, done that, tries to play nice, entertaining football and won't attempt to convert defensive midfielders into wingers.

Mowbray would be a good option imo and he brings youth through, but I think his health is bad so I can’t see him coming back soon.
