• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

One on target again so still not good enough

We are playing some neat football but, as always, we're totally feeble in attack. How many balls from open and set play have we lobbed into the keeper's hands? Cullen in particular is looking right off colour.
However miracles do occur, Vip did a nice sidestep to beat his marker and put in a rasping shot, something I thought I'd never see.
And how many times are they going to kick Ronald up in the air before the ref shows red?

Half time thoughts:
Grimes both is the embodiment of what we do well and the symptom of our disease - always available for the ball and happy to take it under any pressure.... BUT he is once again spending way too much time between our centre halves and not in the middle of the pitch where he should be to offer the defenders an out ball.

Franco once again looks like he is playing against children at times, more anticipation and more desire than anyone else on the pitch. I really would like to see a game where he plays as the midfield anchor and Grimes drops out so we can get another more box to box attack minded midfielder into the middle of the pitch.

Zan as usual being starved of service, 4 touches in the whole of the first half. Two of those was taking the ball on the spin and getting away our only shot on target and another was a clearing header from a corner.

Ref is having an absolute shocker, first 20-25 minutes let Millwall get away with murder. They could have already had a red at the rate of fouls they should have been racking up and then he waved away a clear penalty when the defender body checked Ronald out of the way of meeting a cross
