• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Excellent win and generally a good all round performance against a team full of confidence.

Light show was a nice addition too

Really enjoyed that game!
Some really good performances, great passages of play, strong at the back and a deserved win.
Got to say Cullen was outstanding, he didn’t let them settle for one second.

Well done tonight. A big effort from the players and the team encouraged each other throughout. We appeared to fight for every ball in spite of some crazy refereeing where crystal clear fouls were just ignored and that made for an even more exciting game. We probably should have had two penalties and our finishing let us down for a couple more. that might have haunted us at the end but for Watford's own lack of decisiveness up front (which is so bizarre after what they did at the weekend).
Peart looked a great player tonight, the defence was sound and the substitutions probably happened at the right time to the right people tonight. I would love to see a manager sub Grimes even if it is in the 90th minute and we are five goals up just to witness how the crowd reacts as it is such a rarity.

Not sure anyone had 'Cabango and Darling forming the backbone of one of the meanest defences in the league' on their bingo card
I certainly didn't.

Cabango in particular. At times under the previous managers he looked no better than L1 quality. But he appears to have gone up a notch this term.

Whatever you want to say about this side, there's no doubting the bedrock of it is the back 5. Iffy start from Tymon aside, it's been very consistent this season.

That was my thought. No more than 12k.
I was there and I suppose it was to be expected that there would be a low turnout. Any parent with young children would probably be doing the fireworks for them.
I have to say I really enjoyed the game, we played some very intricate short passes and ran and hustled them all night. Franco was outstanding and so was Grimes.

Really glad I went, thoroughly enjoyed that to be fair, played some lovely stuff in the first half.
Only negative would be the drop in the second half again.
Christie isn't going to play 90 minutes any time soon, he looks way off the pace.

The good thing is we’re winning when not 100% clocking. I think goals will come over the next month or so if we keep playing like this and confidence grows. A shout out to Ronald for 2 assists in the last couple of games, a slow start to the season but seems to be picking up now, long may it continue

Not convinced that goals will come. We have a striker in Vipo who is not even league 1 standard. Yes, he scored on Saturday....a tap in from 3 yards. We are still struggling final third cos he offers fck all.

I wasn't watching and according to this thread, Cullen was running around like a headless chicken, achieving the square root of fuck all.

Yet I watch the highlights and the first two chances we created came because of his pressing and winning the ball back in their half? I agree that it would be great if he could become a more consistent goalscorer, but he clearly has a role in the team and does it pretty well.

Really good performance last night, although it did feel quite nervous in the last 5-10 minutes when they had a few corners/long throws. Considering they scored 6 on the weekend, their finishing was dreadful last night!

I thought we could/should have had a penalty in the first half for what looked like a push but it's not included on the extended highlights so I haven't seen it back.

Lucky we don't have VAR in the Championship because Ronald was slightly offside when the ball was crossed to him for the goal.

Overall, a very decent night's work and a much needed win to get 3 more points on the board with Burnley and Leeds up next
