• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I just call it as I see it, I'm negative when we are shite, positive when we are playing well. Been going since hollins was it manager, went to wembley to watch us clinch the premiership. Thanks man for the support.
We all know you support the club and the team mun. Or those that have been around a while. You have been relentless lately mind 🤣

Hark at me 🤣🤣

The squad itself is a mid table Championship squad.
A good manager would be able to push at the play offs with the squad we have
An average manager would be comfortably in mid table mediocrity
A poor manager would be showing relegation form with a 1-17 aggregate score over six games
Oh no no no.
At what point would a tidy manager push to the play offs with this squad ?
I'll give the defence can be okay (in right positions). But we only have 4 so called reasonable defenders. That does not imply a squad in itself. We have one tidy midfielder. Depending on where he played you might say Grimes made it two. And we have fuck all up front or wide. I'll say Cullen could class as another somewhere. And no one on the bench. Play Off squad my arse. Paul Daniels would struggle with this lot.

Pre and during Petty had this sort of feeling to me. Obviously we were in more shit then.
Exactly. Petty, Cullis and 85/86 in my time are the only times that come close. 85/86 wasn't toxic just demoralising. Petty/Cullis was both. 2002/03, our worst season since re election days was hard but we all rallied around. The difference now is where we are in the EFL, we allegedly have people running the club and, back then, at least we were trying on the pitch.

Sorry to state the obvious here but instead of buying yet more shite average players, why not invest in an experienced coach who can maybe save us from ourselves and keep us up?
There's an interesting idea. Have you thought of running the club ?

We’re about to find out how much grimes was worth to this side.

Big trouble ahead
Post of The Year, already.

Fortunately this forum still has a voice of reason with the likes of Risc and a few notable others with their fingers truly on our Club’s pulse

Yet another nonsense shouty post by someone entirely out of touch with my Club.

Our players showed the art of the possible vs QPR, get a grip ya dafty

Spot on Baka.
QPR is the exemplar

You keep banging on about one game where we played well, we’ve been dogshit since, Grimes even backed Williams in his goodbye statement, so tell me why he’s left all of a sudden?

If you had a brain you'd be dangerous. At least you keep up your comedy value on here. QPR, QPR, QPR, Jesus, one game that was mind. Is it your club is it ? Sorry, I didn't realise it was yours.
