• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You’re not wrong, but if we’re in League One next season it wouldn’t matter anyways. At this point safety has to be the number one priority and we’re nearly there.

Once that’s done, I’m all for everything you’ve outlined.
Yeah, I agree with that.

I'm all about keeping our status and that is the only objective. 100%. I just think you are playing with fire by setting up so negative like we did today. It could of back fired.

I Would be disappointed if he doesn't go with a back 4 and wingers on Wednesday.

Today was a team set up not to lose rather than go out and win, we got lucky but that style of ay doesnt really tend to have much longevity.
Three points over anything else on Wednesday. Then launch the plan to extract him from anything to do with our coaching staff, but in a nice way as his points per game ratio has delivered when needed.

Dreadful match today so bored, but 3pts on the board and I enjoyed @Darran time wasting giving the ball back.
I saw Darran on the box. Lovely view of him, with his flowing locks gleaming in the sunshine. He looked like a Greek God.

In fact, from now on, he should be called Darran the Greek.

I've got some spec saver vouchers you can have... 😁😅

It says a lot that the highlights video on the Sky website is only 75 seconds long.
That was an absolute atrocious performance. As others have said , 3pts was the most important thing ,but if that's anything like it's going to be under Sheehan next season(if he gets job full time) then i would like a refund on my season ticket. So so negative and boring.

I’d accept that argument if we’d lost. We took the 3 points.

Someone earlier mentioned Carvahal vs Liverpool. Must I remind that we beat Liverpool 1-0 by an Alfie Mawson goal.

I remember Carvahal saying something like they came to Swansea with a Ferrari and he wanted to create a traffic jam so they couldn’t get out of first gear. It worked. Now, Derby is obviously no Liverpool, so I get it.

When you come in as a new manager with a side fighting to stay up you’re likely coming into a club with a subpar squad. I think we’d all agree that our side the season of relegation from the prem and our squad this season were/are both a bit threadbare. Anyways, an ugly result is still a result.

Derby are no Liverpool, Swansea today are no Swansea of that era. For all his flowery and nonsensical speech, he bottled it and took us down.

We were pretty sh*te in terms of creating something, but we kept a decent shape and battled well all game.. standard championship snoozefest
