• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He’s going to come to the presser this afternoon rip off his shirt to show his Swansea City tattoo on his chest, and say ‘I’m not going anywhere YJBs'

Any word on Cabango?
I saw something about he needs to see a specialist about his injury? Should have done that by now, surely?
It's been less than 48 hours to be fair, they may need to wait for swelling to go down before they can do scans etc

I know WBA have fallen off a bit recently, but thinking back to the game at the Hawthorns where we got absolutely battered in the first half has me a touch concerned. Add into that the fact that Cabango's out, we're likely looking at a centre-half partnership of Harry Darling + one of Kyle Naughton or Cyrus Christie, and I can't see us getting anything

We beat them at home last season, no reason we can't do it again.

One of their players came out and said they’re playing more attacking football since Corberan left them and says they push a lot more players up in attacking areas, one thing we can’t deal with is teams pressing us.

So, in summary:
  • Bookies link Williams with WBA
  • A small subset of our fans get very upset at a perceived lack of commitment from Williams for thinking it's a piss take and making a joke about it, instead of severing an artery and writing "I LOVE SWANSEA" in his own blood all over the stadium
  • No proper journalist ever thought there was anything in it
  • Williams does a press conference putting it to bed
  • ITK types are made to look stupid, for the umpteenth time.
Does that just about cover it?

I reckon so 😂

He would be in the coach going back with the baggies players if he was offered the role..

Never ruled it out and is still keeping the door open there

I don't blame him from a financial perspective similar with Darling..

How can you come to the conclusion he's keeping the door open after reading or listening to what he said in this afternoons press conference?

Seriously?
With everything that has been written or implied, there will always be some doubt if there was any, however small some truth in it.
As there was no clear statement from the start there will be a bias in people's thoughts due to what they think of the coach and owners.

The only real things written or implied have been from people on forums like this or twitter. None of these claims have had any substance whatsoever.

If after what he said during his press conference this afternoon doesn't clear things up then I'm not sure what will unless he live streams himself getting a swans tattoo on hist chest.
