Hope the fans finally start turning up to see us after our continuing improvement since our goal drought. We are playing attractive football, scoring goals, have new owners and a 3pm kick off .

No excuse for supporters no to turn up other than apathy.

A few of us travelling up on the same route as the Pompey fans... Leigh Del should be interesting..

It will be 3 weeks on Saturday since Portsmouth last played a game.

Will they be rested or rusty or both?

I hate the term "home banker" but Portsmouth are in a very rough patch at the moment and are rock bottom of the league. We have some ground to make if we want to have any chance of trying to hit the top six this season and this is the kind of game that we must take all 3 points from.

Vipotnik up top and Cullen in the hole again for me please.

Personally I'd be in two minds whether to start Peart-Harris simply because he was on loan there and should want to make a statement even if he is fairly poor.

But I'd go
Vig
Key - Cabango - Darling - Tymon
Grimes - Franco
Bianchini - Cullen - Ronald

I see your point about Peart-Harris bit he's already picked up 4 yellows, three in the last 4 games.

By trying to make a statement could he be a red coming?

Good point. I'd go for Bianchini in that case!

On the plus side, that would be 3 matches that Williams can’t pick him!

I like this, MPH had a good game at Oxford, but has mostly been a passenger since!
I'd either go Christie at RB with Key further up, or start with Bianchini as you say.

I’d rather start Naughton at RB over Christie tbh.

Christie's challenge to give away the penalty last night was absurd.
Not only was it so late it might have been mistaken as a challenge in this weekend's game but it was nowhere near the ball and quite high. Could maybe put it down to rustiness as he hasn't played a lot since signing but yeah it was almost as ridiculous as the penalty Abdulai gave away against Boro on the opening day.
