• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I hate the term "home banker" but Portsmouth are in a very rough patch at the moment and are rock bottom of the league. We have some ground to make if we want to have any chance of trying to hit the top six this season and this is the kind of game that we must take all 3 points from.

Vipotnik up top and Cullen in the hole again for me please.
They won their last game 3 - 1.

The Championship is a crazy league and anything can happen and frequently does.

I’m sure that Williams will be trying to dismiss any level of complacency, whether he can is a different story altogether. We’ve had so many examples of weak 1-0 home defeats in recent times.

Even though they are bottom, it wouldn't surprise me if Portsmouth sell their allocation for Saturday. They are a proper old-skool club with incredible support.

We're going to have to endure this clown ringing his bell for 2 hours straight. Most annoying buffoon in football!

I'm unsure how he manages to bring a large metal bell into the stadium... we're not even allowed to bring a plastic bottle of drink in

Think they have sold out their allocation, around the 2000 mark.

I’d rather start Naughton at RB over Christie tbh.
I wasn't impressed with either Christie or Naughton last night. Christie for obvious reasons, and Naughton who was looking every one of his 36 years. Normally he reads the game well enough not to get caught out, but last night he was second best in any contest involving pace, like that early incident where their bloke dived for a penalty.

I just hope we can find a mean streak and get 3 or 4 goals ahead of them, then build momentum so we go into Christmas and New Year within touching distance of the play off places. There's nothing better than travelling to away matches over Christmas and New Year with the prospect of getting into the top six.

Aye give me a foul mouthed, coked up chav, dressed head to toe in Clone Island every time, who needs characters in football anymore anyway ...
Wait till he’s been ringing his bell for 30 min straight and you’ll soon change you’re mind.

I'll make the cardinal sin of now looking ahead.
Win tmrw, 4 collective points at Luton/Plymouth...then the Sunderland game could be the biggest game we've had for ages.
No, I've not been drinking either.
