• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Half time thoughts:

Very even game, 1-0 but could easily have been 2-2 with better luck/finishing.

Vig has had to make one save but it was a super reflex stop.
Back four are playing a little too slow for my liking
Eom has been superb, only his end product has been lacking.
Franco not quite up to his normal standards, should have scored but blasted his shot straight at the keeper
Ronald we haven't really gotten him involved as much all our best work is down the left.
Cooper has been excellent, covered every blade of grass and very unlucky not to get a goal himself.
Vipotnik's best half so far, he has been everything we were expecting when he signed.

Good first half I thought. Game not over by a long way. We could have been at least two up but Bristol are still in this. Need to have cool heads first 15 mins second half.
Enjoying it though.

Good first half, but PLEASE don't try and defend the lead by sitting back, Williams. Keep going for goals. Shame Franco didn't show a tad more composure and sidefooted the ball into the net instead of blasting it.
We need to get a grip on their Japanese winger no. 7, he's creating chance after chance, our luck is going to run out soon.

Tymon has been the Wurzell's best outlet first half, turning our attacks into nothing with his lack of quality.
The Japanese boy has him on toast as well.
Sooner we get a second the better.

My thoughts exactly. That Japanese boy needs to be managed better.

Everyone saying we could be 2 up etc, we could be losing if they had some luck. They are looking dangerous on the attack, this is not over, we need to stay alert second half and look to take our chances, we can still lose this easily.

Yep. Fair point.

That through ball was atrociously defended, once again Vig saving our midfield who were totally absent
