• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

People need to forget the Swansea Way. It's extinct. And let's be honest how often was it really there ? Under Roberto, yes. Paulo, no. Brendan, half the time. The only other was Michael. All the others, including Rodgers a lot of the time just passed for passing's sake. Our possession was 80% but we'd score 1 at best. Look at how Spain have adapted. From their tippy tappy stuff to their attack minded stuff this summer. We seem to be stuck in the past with Grimes and Fulton the archetypes of our failure. Bring back 442. Grimes has to be CM then. With Allen, Franco as the compliment. 2 wide men . Ronald, Eom, Providence. 2 attackers (1 big gun like Zan, 1 a secondary like Cullen or AN Other).... football is a simple game made hard by managers and the law makers

Their first thought is can I beat a man, there's hope yet, but I got a feeling that Williams Is exactly like Russ, safety first, teams get out of this division by throwing the kitchen sink at it, not this cautious bollocks we've adopted.. too much PowerPoint bollocks is going on down there.. beat a man, cross, find space, anticipate anything.. Williams is doing the same as Russ, Statball..
He never played safety first at County, I'm wondering as to whether that tactic has come from one of his "advisors"
